About Uber

They offer an alternative to traditional driver jobs in major cities across the UK and are now looking for new drivers to join the Uber app. Drivers come from all backgrounds and industries, and this is your opportunity to drive on and control your own schedule.

How does it work?

As a driver, you’ll have the flexibility to decide if, when and where you work.

The app provides you with everything you need to be able to track your earnings and access benefits. For example, did you know that eligible drivers have access to a pension scheme with NOW: Pensions and access Sickness Cover through Allianz? You could also earn £750 extra after you complete 50 trips within the first 90 days of activating your account *.

Uber also has a partnership with The Open University which means drivers can access more than 900 free courses either for themselves or a family member, as part of the tiered Uber Pro loyalty scheme.

With the driver app, you’re in control.

MDN

If you don’t own a vehicle, Uber can help you to get one with their vehicle solutions. If you do have your own appropriate vehicle and PHV licence, you’ll be up and running easily.

For those that don’t have a PHV licence, Uber will provide information about the process to obtain one. It can take a bit of time (up to 6 months), and will cost up to £600 (including medical, DBS check, PHV Licence application and Topographical Assessment), but the Uber team will be there to help.
