Following on from the Spring edition published in March, we have seen a year
of significant change. As we publish the Winter edition, we now face a cost
of living crisis, unprecedented energy bills, the war in Ukraine, soaring
inflation and a turbulent political landscape have all contributed to a
difficult economic period. With talent shortages prevailing throughout this
time and unemployment at 3.5%, its lowest level for nearly 50 years,
recruiting and retaining staff remains a top priority for many
organisations.
